PETRA Welfare now offers training services for members and non-members alike.

All our courses centre around the movement of pet-type animals via road across Europe (EU+GB).

For pet transports, existing or new, we offer instruction for management and drivers on:

• Legal requirements

        e.g. Balai 92/65, EC 01/2005

• Species-specific handling
• Pet passports, EU Animal Health Certificates, Export Health Certificates, Customs procedures, EU notification
• Vehicle law including O-License, Transport Manager cover, Driver's Hours, Driver licensing, weight and welfare on-board issues

For related organisations like ferry lines, rescue charities and authorities connected to, but not directly involved in animal transport. PETRA Welfare additionally offers tailored training on what they need to know.
